Post-graduate study, post doctorate study

Since 1995 Kharkov University of Humanities «People's Ukrainian Academy» has been working on the problem of post-graduate education of its scientific and teaching staff.

The start of constantly functioning post-graduate programme in KhUH PUA in 1998 was a natural step in the development of our higher educational establishment.

The first group of post-graduate students was accepted in 1996. There were a few students then – only 4. But they initiated the programme of preparing in PUA Academy's own pedagogical staff.

As of 01.01.2014, the number of post-graduate students and applicants in KhUH PUA is 42 people.

Post-graduate and doctoral programme is carried out in PUA on the following specialties:

07.00.01 – history of Ukraine (historical sciences);

08.01.01 – economic theory and history of economic thought (economic sciences);

22.00.04 – special and branch sociology (sociological sciences);

22.00.01 – theory and history of sociology (sociological sciences);

09.00.03 – social philosophy and philosophy of history (philosophical, historical sciences).

Applicants have an opportunity to be trained in the following specialties:

08.00.04 – enterprise economics and management (economic sciences);

10.02.04 – germanic languages (philological sciences);

10.02.16 – theory of translation (philological sciences);

10.02.21 – structural, applied and mathematical linguistics (philological, physical and mathematical, technical sciences);
