During their course of studies at the Department, students receive education at the following qualification levels and in the following specializations:
Specialization "Economy of the Enterprise" Bachelor’s, Specialist’s and Master’s degrees in "Economy of the Enterprise": • receiving an advanced legal training; • acquisition of skills to create one’s own business; • opportunities for designing a professional strategy for the following careers: business owner, economist and analyst, manager, employee of the Planning and Economic Department, specialist in the field of marketing, head of financial and economic departments at enterprises, organizations, banks. Duration of the program: Bachelor’s - 4 years; Specialist’s - 1.5 years; Master’s - 1.5 years.
Specialization "Translation" Bachelor of Philology, Specialist in the fields of "Philology" and "Translation": • advanced training as a Personal Assistant; • training as a translator of two foreign languages: English and German; • opportunities to participate in international internships and exchange programs in order to broaden professional and social experience; • opportunities for designing a professional strategy for the following careers: translator, language teacher, office manager. Duration of the program: Bachelor’s – 5 years; Specialist’s – 1 year.
Specialization "Sociology" Bachelor’s, Specialist’s, Master’s degrees in "Sociology": • in-depth study of Psychology; • obtaining a specialization which is in demand at the job-market; • opportunities for designing professional strategies in the following careers: HR Manager, social analyst and expert in the field of PR-technologies, advertising and market researcher, business consultant. Duration of the program: Bachelor’s - 4 years; Specialist’s - 1.5 years; Master’s - 1.5 years. Upon successful completion of the course of studies, students are awarded a state diploma.

The official curriculum presupposes 2 examination sessions lasting 3 to 4 weeks each. In accordance with the curriculum, students have class work (lectures, seminars, workshops), tests and exams; introductory lectures in the subjects that are on the next semester schedule. Learning is separated from the students’ main professional activities (official leave from work for participating in examination sessions can be obtained on the basis of a certificate of employment), individual and distance learning schedules are available too. In addition to an intense course study at the Department, one can enjoy an interesting extracurricular life. Students of the Department are encouraged to take part in all academic festivals and events such as: - Initiation to student’s life; - Honoring excellent students event; - “KVN” The Comedy club; - “The history of my family” Contest; - “Autumn Mosaic” - amateur arts festival; - Victory Day (May 9th) celebration; - The Academy’s Birthday celebration.
For those who want to broaden their scope, there are various clubs: ─ the Political club ─ the Business Club ─ the European Club ─ the Cinema Club ─ the English Club and others.
Special additional courses can be taken in: ─ tourism (tourism management); ─ the Basics of entrepreneurial activities; ─ financial services market; ─ "Hotelier" School of hospitality ─ Applied Psychology; ─ PR and advertising (management of public relations and advertising); ─ journalism; ─ foreign language teaching methodology; ─ web design; ─ driving; ─ language courses: English, Spanish, German and French.
Despite the busy learning schedules, part-time students actively participate in scientific conferences (regional and international ones, including the Academy’s annual International Student Conference). The opportunity of getting two degrees simultaneously and an interesting student life attracts not only residents of Kharkiv, but also young people from the Kiev, Zaporozhe, Lugansk, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovs’k, Sumy, Volyn, Ternopol regions, the Crimea, as well as those from the neighboring and distant counties: Russia, Turkey, Jordan, Turkmenistan, Germany, USA.
