Lyudmyla Oleksandrivna Artemenko
Associate professor, honored professor of People’s Ukrainian Academy
Graduated from Gorky State University (now V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University), the department of Romanic and Germanic languages. After graduation worked at this university as a teacher of English, later as a senior teacher at the chair of the English language up to 1994.
In 1984 successfully completed 4 months internship at Leeds University, Great Britain. Since 1994 has been working in Kharkiv University of Humanities “People’s Ukrainian Academy”, teaching General English, Business English, English for Specific Purpose to the students of Social Management and Business Administration departments.
The author of 68 publications, including 9 chapters in monography “Theoretical and Applied Aspects of Teaching English at Non-philological Departments”, 3 manuals “Tips on Economics”, “English for Sociologists”, “Manuals on English Grammar”, scientific articles and articles on innovative methods of teaching English.
Individual scientific theme is “Problems of learning and teaching English: theoretical, applied and aspects”.
Since 2001 has got summer practice of spoken English in the USA, thus enriching her language resources.
L.A. Artemenko trains the students for participating in English section at annual International student scientific conference held in People’s Ukrainian Academy.
