In October (1.10 – 7.10) an interesting project for educational workers took place in the city of Huittinen (Finland). The initiator of the project was the Institute for International Academic and Scientific Cooperation. This non-governmental and non-profit organization is designed to promote the development of education, science and civil society in Ukraine. The purpose of the program was to get familiarized with the organization of the learning process in educational institutions of Finland and take and an intensive course of English.
The program was attended by vice-rectors, professors, and school principals from different parts of Ukraine. Natalia Molodcha, an associate professor of the Foreign Languages Chair, also took part in this project and successfully passed scientific and pedagogical internship.
The internship program included a meeting with a representative of the municipal education department, visiting a kindergarten, elementary school, gymnasium, and university of Applied Sciences (Satakunta).
In West-Finland College participants also took English classes. At the end of the course after the test the project participants received certificates showing the level of English language proficiency.
