Kharkov humanitarian university has the IV-th level of accreditation and trains future economists, translators and sociologists.

The higher education provided at KhHU has its own distinctive features. First and foremost it consists of stages. The aim and the essence of each of the three stages consist in increasing our future graduates competitiveness on the job-market and ensure high-quality fundamental and specialized education.
Upon completing eight semesters, students are awarded a Bachelor’s Degree, having completed the 10th semester, they obtain a Specialist’s Diploma, a Master’s Degree takes 11 semesters to complete.
Great attention is given to practical training (various kinds of practice sessions and work placements are prescribed by the curriculum throughout the whole course of studies).
Another distinctive feature is the existence of a special unit (a Career-planning Laboratory) responsible for organizing of the students’ internship and work-placement, as well as finding employment for the graduates.
In the process of training, the students acquire skills in using new computer technologies, have opportunities of a more in-depth study of any academic discipline and acquire proficiency in a foreign language.
