European Commission supported project idea that was submitted within the call of the Erasmus+ Programme (KA2 Capacity Building in the field of higher education) by the consortium including People’s Ukrainian Academy.

PUA cooperates with South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences (Germany) many years. A lot of interesting educational and scientific projects have been realized jointly. Some of these projects supposed training or internship of students or teachers in the partner university. In 2015/16 academic year a new mobility program – the one for PhD students – has been launched.

Public Affairs Section of the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine held the 17th American Studies Summer Institute with the theme “U.S. Presidential Elections: Window into American Society”. The event was hosted by America House in June 22-24, 2016.

Results of the Global University rating U-Multirank were published. In 2016 data of about 1300 universities worldwide were analyzed both at institutional and subject level. Among three PUA’s specialties (Economics, Philology, Sociology) performance indicators of bachelors and masters trainings within the specialty “Sociology” were assessed.

The Academy hosted a skype-presentation of Master's programs for undergraduates of Ukrainian Institute of Arts and Sciences (Kyiv – Bucha). UIAS conducts training in the following areas: Humanities; Management and Administration; Economy and Entrepreneurship.

The cooperation of KhUH PUA with Pedagogical University of Weingarten (Germany) continues. A new student is getting ready to go to the partner higher educational establishment for education during the summer semester 2015.

Boris Grinchenko Kyiv University held an International scientific and practical conference «University and leadership» within the International project «Education for leadership, intelligence and development of talent (Tempus-Smhes) ».

Not quite an ordinary conversation occurred between the pupils of SELS and the students of the Faculty of Business Administration: in media-centre «Time» (business concern "АVEK") – they were discussing the topic «Ukraine 2020. How can we imagine it?».

In accordance with the decision of United Nations General Assembly since 1985, 5th December has been International Volunteer's Day. Taking the opportunity, we would like to thank and congratulate all those who have joined the volunteer movement actively and with pleasure.

Twelve masters of the Faculty of Business Administration participated in the seminar «Business and cross-cultural interaction» (Southern Westphalian University of Applied Sciences, Germany).

Despite the fact that the results of summer working semester-2014 are summed up in the Academy, and the active preparations for the next summer have already started, PUA is still receiving good references of students' work last summer.

Four students of PUA: Victoria Kurochka (TI- 44), Tatiana Odnorob (SM- 41), Anastasia Krakovskaya (TI- 21), Anna Kocherova (BA-22) were marked by diplomas and cups of Kharkov Regional Centre of Youth for excellent work as teachers-organizers in summer 2014.

On 1st December after long-term (one month) and short-term (one week) foreign training 12 students and 3 teachers of PUA set to studies.

Quickly passed 3 months during which the project-language assistant from Germany Armin Peter worked in the Academy. Thanks to his diligence, openness and responsiveness Armin successfully joined the collective of PUA.
