On the 14th of February, “People’s Ukrainian Academy” hosted Sven Olof – a professor from Sweden. He told the fifth year students about the education system in Sweden, which starts in kindergarten and ends with PhD degree. The students were curious to know about the strict Swedish education system.

The questions of university corruption, aims of education, and the background knowledge of both Ukrainian and Swedish students were pondered upon during the discussion. Despite the lecture being relatively short, the students and the professor used the opportunity to exchange experience. Let’s hope there are more such events from the Roman Philology Department to come.
