Twelve masters of the Faculty of Business Administration participated in the seminar «Business and cross-cultural interaction» (Southern Westphalian University of Applied Sciences, Germany).

The trip became a continuation of the binomial programme of assistant professor

O.Ye.Basmanova (KhUH PUA) and professor E. Mittelshted (SWUAS) on the courses «Economics and Organization of Innovative Activity» and «Creation of Business and Innovative Management» which was realized in a spring semester last academic year.

At the seminar there was presented a complex of theoretical and practical material which was consolidated in the group work (colleagues-masters of the German university were partners of PUA students). Presentations of business ideas of each of six groups became the result of three-day fruitful work – thus, the gained knowledge and skills in business and interaction were shown within the mixed Ukrainian-German groups.

Besides students' interaction, during the visit to the partner higher educational establishment, the representatives of PUA – associate professor O.Ye.Basmanova and teacher N.I.Zakrinichnaya – discussed the directions of further cooperation in the future with professor Evald Mittelshted. In particular, there was made an agreement of professor Mittelshted's participation in the International Scientific and Practical Conference «Transformation of Social Functions of Education in the Modern World» which will be held in February 2015 in PUA. A return visit of the group of German students to PUA is also being planned.

Summing up the results, all the participants agreed that it was a unique project which considerably increased their knowledge, skills and habits. In addition, the project enabled them to learn more about the partner higher educational establishment (and about the country in general) not only during working interaction, but also during excursions and informal communication.
