Extra-curricular activities

Citizens of Kazakhstan, China, Iraq, Turkey, Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation are educated in the «People’s Ukrainian Academy».

Studying at the Academy, they manage not only to obtain a sound knowledge, but also to actively participate in the extracurricular activities of the university as well as conduct research.

Foreign students’ reports, presentations and articles regularly arouse great interest as they may express views on the questions under consideration which are different from conventional ones and due to the integration of approaches of different schools and values of different cultures.

The university’s traditions of extracurricular activities include Days of Cultures of different countries, during which everyone who studies and teaches in the Academy has an opportunity to learn more about the traditions, history and peculiarities of those countries whose representatives are trained at the university.

Together with their group mates and fellow students, foreign students whose home country is represented, acquaint other "academics" with its cuisine, music, prominent figures, traditions, sights, history and literature.

Foreign students can realize and express themselves in the work of the Student Government, Folk Student Theatre and in different clubs that represent students’ interests (Business club, Political club, Cinema Club, Literary Club, etc.) and in various sports clubs.
