The Arts Council Statute
1. General Provisions
1.1. Arts Council is a public organization, made up with the purpose of regulating artistic activities of PUA students, as well as its informational support and help in developing the repertoire policy of PUA artistic groups.
1.2. The Council works on a voluntary basis.
1.3. The Council is accountable to PUA Rector.
1.4. Membership in the Arts Council is voluntary.
1.5. Council meetings are held twice a year.
2. Functions
2.1. Information work: providing information to the PUA site, to ‘Academia’ newspaper and “Begemot”, students’ newspaper about activities and holidays, held at the Academy.
2.2. Participation in developing the Academy repertoire policy and help in its realization.
2.3. Approval of PUA concert performances.
2.4. Administering the work of artistic groups.
2.5. Involving students in participating in artistic groups.
3. Head of Arts Council and Activity Features
3.1. General leadership of the Arts Council is maintained by the Rector, the First Pro-rector, the Pro-rector on education in the field of humanities.
3.2. The Council work is directed by the Head of the Arts Council.
3.3. The Arts Council staff is approved by the Rector.
3.4. The Council works in accordance with the working plan, approved by the Rector.
3.5. The Arts Council cooperates with all structures, subdivisions and social organizations of KhUH ‘PUA’.
